Recent pictures- a real update!

Before today, I hadn't really posted much for 6-7 months. We've had some really great times though, so I'm glad to finally get a few notes down about them. Here is a little update on life as it is now.

Ben took his 3rd CPA exam a few weeks ago and feels pretty good about it. He is going to attempt the 4th test this Saturday without studying, and we'll see how it goes! We're hoping his tax background will help him pass the tax regulation test with minimal effort, but if not he'll retake it this summer. He has been really dilligent in studying for all of the others, but just didn't have enough time to prepare for this one with the busy season work schedule. Ben is starting to run again and plans to run the Spokane half-marathon in May.

Hyrum is walking really well and is very quick, though he doesn't quite run yet. This morning, without me even waving first, he started waving at me from his high chair. If I could find my video cable I would upload it, he is so cute! He is what makes me excited to get up in the morning and we have lots of fun together. He loves spending time with Dad, too, and grins and gets really excited every time they play. Hyrum's laugh is infectious and so is his smile. Between those and his cute walking and playing, our days go by really quickly.

We had a fun time visiting the Campbell Clan and Grandpa in Portland this January. Hyrum loved playing with some big kids and they were very fun and caring with Hyrum. We enjoyed Saralyn's cooking and Grandpa's reading along with a walk and some tee-ball.

Hyrum is still finding his way into every nook and cranny. His most recent trick includes biting the lids off of anything he can get those two little teeth under-- cans of formula, containers, and lids of any kind. He also has started pulling out TP from under the bathroom sink and shredding it (by biting). He is getting his third tooth- this one on the top- so I guess I can't blame him for wanting to chew everything. Hyrum keeps me on my toes and is the greatest bundle of joy ever.
